Dear Friends,
I'm writing to you from a sunny spot on the terrace of my quiet village, where not much seems to happen, yet nature is always in motion. Sometimes, quieter places and quiet people within them are overlooked in this noisy, chaotic world, yet I believe they are often the most interesting.
Communication and friendships in small villages are just as intricate and rewarding as those in towns or cities, and a background of Charolaises cows does not make trifling quarrels disappear, nor does it make challenging dialogues feel more effortless. Sometimes there are grudges between a mayor and villagers, as well as between farmers and townies. Yet, everyone seems to manage and navigate the challenges of living together.
Retired farmer Henri one such villager that carries on with such lightness. His laughter can be heard over the brambly hedgerows as he zooms around the rolling hills on his four-wheeler.
